7231 Professional Visitors from 63 Countries Visited the International Arena of the Turkish Stationery Industry

Istanbul International Stationery Office Fair was organized by Tüyap Exhibitions Group in cooperation with the All Stationery Association (TÜKİD) between 28 February and 2 March, 2024 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, Büyükçekmece - Istanbul, bringing together all stakeholders of the stationery industry. The fair, which took place during a 4-day period with the participation of 330 brands, 242 companies and company representatives from 21 countries and hosted 7,231 business people from 63 countries, continues to attract the attention of international markets.

Positive business networking results
Evaluating the Istanbul International Stationery Office Fair, which offers a business-oriented environment for its visitors and participants, Yeşim Ulusoy, Deputy General Manager of Tüyap Exhibitions Group stated "This fair, organized by Tüyap Exhibitions Group in cooperation with TÜKİD, represents the most prestigious gathering of the industry across the Eurasia and continues to build on its previous success. The fair, which we started to organize for the first time in 2017 across 3 halls within an indoor area of 10 thousand square meters, was held across 5 halls with a total indoor area of 16 thousand square meters this year. 18 direct participants from 7 countries, 192 domestic companies, 32 company representatives and 330 brands from 20 countries took part in the fair, which serves as a great platform to strengthen the strength of the Turkish stationery industry in the international arena."

Stating that the targeted visitor group took its place at the fair this year, Ulusoy continued to explain: "The fair attracted visitors from 73 provinces throughout Turkey, including especially visitors from the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Western Black Sea and Central Anatolia regions. Overall, a total of 7,231 professional visitors from 63 countries across different geographies, such as the Balkans, Europe, Turkish Republics, Asia, Africa, Caucasus and the Middle East, including 1,012 foreign visitors, came to the fair to meet with our exhibitors and made significant business connections. Moving forward on a strong trend of growth, the fair achieved a 20 percent increase in the number of visitors and a 7 percent increase in the number of foreign visitors compared to the previous year. The İstanbul International Stationery Office Fair, which provided added value to the sector trade through business connections during the four-day period, reinforces its position in the international arena every year.

Pleasing foreign sector's interest in the fair with increased brand value
Vecdet F. Şendil, President of the All Stationery Association (TÜKİD), stated that the visitors had the chance to make the international business connections they were looking for at the fair, emphasized that the brand value of the fair increases every year and explained: "We are extremely pleased with the interest shown by retailer and wholesaler organizations from Türkiye and abroad this year. We hosted a wide range of industry professionals again at the Istanbul International Stationery Office Fair, which we have been organizing with Tüyap Exhibitions Group since 2017. Key procurement professionals from 63 countries all around the world as well as 73 cities throughout Türkiye made key business connections during the four days of the fair and became partners in trade with the leading companies of the industry, which exhibited the latest and most popular products from the stationery industry. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this pleasing and productive fair." 

The fair stands out with its participants capable of competing with global players of the industry, in terms of both design and production capabilities, and attracts a great deal of attention with its wide scope The fair presented a wide variety of products, including stationery, office and hobby supplies, licensed products, toys and souvenirs, animated wooden puzzles, which were all exhibited under the same roof.  During the fair, which was open to visit for four days from Wednesday to Saturday for the first time this year, visitors had a pleasant time while doing business and completing the 2000-piece puzzle in the activity area in Hall 7. 

Preparations for the 2025 edition are underway
The fair stood out with its participants, including leading brands of the stationery industry, and a highly qualified audience of local and foreign visitors, and preparations for the 2025 edition of the fair have already begun. The 2025 edition of the Istanbul International Stationery & Office Fair, which will be held between 19 and 22 February, continues to move forward through new strategies designed to grow the global market share of the industry.
